Fiesta Inn Chetumal

The Fiesta Inn is very conveniently located Just a few blocks from the water front and a lovely little shopping strip although the immediate area feels a bit run down. It was very easy to communicate with staff as there was always an English speakers on hand. My only criticism is the housekeeping and responsiveness to requests. When we arrived in the room (booked for 2) there was only 1 water glass and coffee supplies for 1. We requested more for the next day and nothing changed. The following day not only did nothing change but we didn’t get any towels. My husband requested towels twice that day and by the time we returned to our room at 8 pm no signs of towels. I went to the front desk and had to ask. The desk clerk (the same one my husband spoke with twice) told me he would bring up and I told him I would wait right there for the towels. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the bed and bedding were just amazing but oddly the towels were rough and a bit ragged at the edges. No face cloths or hand towels were supplied. A hotel I will book at again as I only paid $62 USD a night.

Conveniently located at central Chetumal, close from Belize border. Rooms are ok and they were clean every time we lodged. Swimming pool on the rooftop is good during the hot season, spacious enough. Underground parking lot gets full on weekends, in which case you can park in front of the front gate. Cafe del Puerto that serves excellent breakfast is nearby.

If staying in Chetumal, clean rooms and great service. Highly recommend!

Nice big rooms pool is decent size and very good place to relax. Front desk and maid service needs improvements as they don’t answer their phones. My credit cards went missing and room was not cleaned specifically swept properly. Overall still would recommend as they try to which is good but they need to service adjustments

Very attentive staff. Clean & spacious room. Did not eat at restaurant but did enjoy some drinks in their rooftop pool/ bar area. Loved the hotel's location, walking distance to most points of interest & restaurants, also to the airport.

This is a good spot in Chetumal to be close to the central part of town close to a lot of shops and restaurants. Just a couple blocks to the seafront which is worth checking out. Underground secured parking was a huge plus due to having a full sized truckload of personal belongings. It even fit my full-size truck with 33” tires and a 3” lift, although it was a tight squeeze. Felt very safe here. Only complaints were horrible smells in the stairwells and hallways, dirty pool water, and almost nonexistent hot water. Luke warm at best for showering. Restaurant was good. Overall Fiesta inn Chetumal was way better and a lot less run down than their hotel in Villahermosa.

Great location for all things Chetumal and Belize. The customer service and staff were amazing. They also have an underground parking deck. Due to the moisture and location, the rooms do smell stuffy and have a scent, but it is not too bad. The breakfast is great and I really enjoyed the buffet. I would recommend this hotel and plan on staying there again.

Such friendly and lovely staff and receptionists. They were super kind to us. Totally recommend this hotel.
